A Living-Library-style event will aim to challenge prejudices and stereotypes of those who may have never met a gay man or transgender person and therefore hold on to the view they developed on basis of media and heteronormative society.
This is based on the theory that people are more likely to hold on to their prejudices if they do not know anyone who represents diversity strand in subject of prejudice or stereotype.
The Event is organised in partnership between Brent Youth Service's Mosaic LGBT Youth Centre, Willesden Library and Brent Diversity Team.
